Preparations for implementing the USP <800> standards on hazardous meds are in full swing...for the December 1, 2019 deadline.
We know improper handling of hazardous meds may increase risk for cancer...organ toxicity...and reproductive or teratogenic problems.
Continue to use full precautions when compounding chemo... 2 pairs of chemo gloves, etc. And now double shoe covers will be needed.
